Cookies Policy
Last updated: 3 August 2026
This policy explains how Lumina Trips (luminatrips.com) uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, pixels, and tracking identifiers), and the choices you have. It complements our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies (such as local storage and tracking pixels) work in comparable ways. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, measure usage, and — for affiliate sites like ours — attribute a booking you make on a partner's site back to us.
What we actually load
We keep this deliberately minimal — there are only two things:
- Strictly necessary (always on) — a single value in your browser's local storage that remembers your cookie choice, plus any security cookie our hosting provider (Cloudflare) sets to protect the site from abuse. These do not identify you and do not require consent.
- Affiliate / attribution (only if you accept) — one Travelpayouts script that lets our partners credit us if you book after clicking one of our links, at no extra cost to you. It loads only after you accept. Separately, once you click through to a partner's site, that partner may set its own cookies, which can have long lifespans — certain partner cookies last up to 365 days (see "Cookies set by third parties" below).
We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or preference cookies. Your language choice (Georgian or English) is carried in the page address (/ka or /en), not stored in a cookie.
Your consent and choices
For visitors in the EU/EEA (and wherever applicable law requires it), we ask for your consent before loading the non-essential attribution script. When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept or reject; rejecting is as easy as accepting. It is a single accept-or-reject choice — until you choose, nothing non-essential loads.
You can change your decision at any time using the cookie settings link in the site footer. You can also block or delete storage in your browser settings. Note that:
- blocking the strictly-necessary storage means we can't remember your choice, so you'll see the banner again, and
- rejecting the attribution script may prevent a booking from being attributed to us (which does not change your price, but means we may not earn the commission that keeps the site free).
Cookies set by third parties
When you click through to a partner (for example a flight, hotel, eSIM, insurance, transfer, or tour offer), that partner's own website may set its own cookies under its cookie and privacy policies. We do not control those cookies. Please review the partner's policy on its site.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date above will change. For significant changes we will provide a more prominent notice.
